Tell us about yourself?
My name is Ifeanyi Ibezim.  I am from Isiala Ibere in Ikwuano local government area Abia state Nigeria. The last child in the family of seven  Rev. Chaplain and pastor Mrs Oliver Ibezim. I am happily married to my FRIEND  Chisom, Anyanwu IBEZ

How did you get saved?

I actually I gave my life to consciously 2008. Why I said consciously was that my dad is pastor and way back if any one ask me this question, I will just tell them my dad is a pastor meaning that I even gave my life to Christ from my mothers womb.(laughs)  till that 2008 when I met Jesus in a music concert when my mentor Tonneil Avo was on stage. It was a whole new experience for me ans every since then it haa been beautiful all the way

How did your career path as a Music Minister come to light?

Actually I have been Singing from when I was a child I have always loved music.  But my music talent came to light 2007 just immediately after my secondary school education.  When I joined a fellowship here in Umuahia Praisers family fellowship.  Senior Pastor Rev Ndubisi Ogbonna. I ministered in a major crowd for the first time in one of the major programs African praise.  With Rev Dr Uma Ukpai and Pastor Paul Agubata then.  That was how my music talent came to light.

Did you ever feel you were not good enough in course of actualizing this passion?

Hmmm...  So many times I felt i wasn't good enough especially when i see and hear other music Ministers, it actually was a major challenge but I was able to snap out of it.
EVANG IFEANYI IBEZIM. MD DE-LYRICS AND SPIRIT ACADEMY, a music Ministers training program. MD Sold out worshipers crew (sow crew).

What genre of music are you into?

Well, for me I can say I am versatile, I can do virtually any kind of genre probably because of my background my family is a music family both my dad, mum and my siblings.  But I have this special love for REGGAE MUSIC And Contemporal.

What is your creative process like?

Crestive process was not an easy one sha...  I started more with a copy and paste kind of creativity till I was able to understand music and ministry. Now I think God has been faithful helping me  and inspiring me.

Are you engaged in other activities away from singing?

First, I am a graduate of Environmental Resource management  Bsc  from Abia University uturu.  Actually my life has just been rotating around music so I can't really say away from music.  I run a music ministers training academy here in Umuahia,  where I training people with passion for music Ministry, then provide platforms for them to express their gifting . This is what I do majorly for now.

For how long have you been singing?

I have been Singing right from my childhood at list from age 3 according my Dad.

Can you let us in on the highlights of your journey as a Christian?
.
Someone of the highlights of my life that has been instrumental to my life as a Christian is actually my family background.  My daddy's life was and still is an major instrument in my Christian life.  He loved the lord so much and is committed to God so much.  He showed that life in God is the best kind of life ever.  We didn't have much then but we were so happy and contented.  This was what formed my philosophy in that FINDING happiness and staying Happy is what matters in life and Godliness with contentment will always be great gain.

Who do you look up to in the Music Industry?

I  have alot of people I look up to like  Tonniel Avo,  Freke Umoh,  Sammie Okposo,  Nathaniel Bassey,  William macdowel but right from when I was coming up in music my major role mode was Donnie mcclurkin because I wanted to a global worship leader just like him.

What can be done better to get the Music Industry on a whole new level of progress?

First of , I want to start by thanking  our fathers in the music industry for the part they played in giving  the Gospel music a face.  People like panam Percy Paul,  chioma Jesus,  Sammy okposo, Esu ekiye, voice of the cross ( pastors Lazarus and Pastor Emma) and the host of other fathers that I can't we remember now.  They really gave us face and the platforms we are enjoying.  Right now music industry is getting better by the day although so much still needs to be done such as more synergy with each other especially with the up coming musicians and artists.

Which do you consider your best work?

I have lots of songs especially from my first album The MARK but I think my recent work I did ALL CREATION.  Its the best for because it expresses my desire and my aim as a Music Minister and my aim to lead nations to God in worship someday.
In the song,  I already saw my self leading nations in worship to God.

Are there any new projects to look out for?

Yes, I wrote a book on music Ministry though not yet out because of financial constraints,  TITLE DEAR MUSIC MINISTERS your ministry just has to work and am working on some other songs I wrote too will be out soon but meanwhile I just released my official video of my song ALL CREATION on YouTube and the next video of my song title LET EVERYTHING  will DROPPING  by 3july which is my birthday.

What's your message for aspiring Music Ministers?

My message for music ministers out there is this,  when you Minister out your love for God not what you will gain,  you will gain everything. If you Delight yourself in the lord,  He will give you the desires of your heart.

Thanks for your time

Thank you so much for this opportunity, I am really grateful.

CEO MOMENTS :THATPURPLEDOT BRAND, HOW SYLVIA NWOKO DOES IT.

Can we meet you?
My name is Sylvia Nwoko, a native of Owa-Oyibu, Ika North/East local Govt. Agbor, Delta State. I live and work in Lagos Nigeria. A graduate of Foreign Languages (French major) from the Federal University of Benin, Benin-city, Edo state. I’m a Fashion Designer, Fashion Design Tutor, A free-lance Translator and a Content creator.

How did you start the purpledot brand?

Thatpurpledot started in Dec.2016 right
after I graduated from the university. I initially started off as a fabric vendor on Snapchat and Instagram before I decided to create my first Female RTW (ready-to-wear) collection pieces in February 2017 and that was the beginning of fashion designing for me. Then sometime in 2018 I started the Luxury brand where my team and I, create Bespoke Outfits for both genders. I’ve always had love for fashion but I never saw myself becoming a designer in my early days but I knew at some point that I was going to end up on the entrepreneurial aspect of life.

Are you basically invested in making gorgeous dresses at you facility, is there more to it?

Asides creating my designs , we also offer mass production services for Wholesalers that do not have the capacity of operating a fashion designing outlet but can sell these products wherever they are located.
Thatpurpledot is also a fashion institution.
Interesting, how long have you been in the Fashion Industry?
I’ve been in the industry for 3&1/2 years. Based on my experiences, the major challenge for me has always been getting loyal, selfless and capable tailors. I was forced to learn the skill myself in 2018 when things got really bad with my Tailors. A lot of them do not understand my brand vision which is to give “ VALUE” before anything else and they feel it’s just a “cut and sew” affair but it’s way beyond that.

How do you unwind?
A glass of wine or a cup of tea and movies or I read a book.

Away from designing, what do you get up to?

Asides Fashion designing, I recently started teaching Graphic designing ( creation of animation videos) and photo editing. I also run a Thrift Fashion Store @niccosboutique on Instagram.

What's your philosophy of life?
My Philosophy is “One with God is majority” and as long as you have FAITH in God and you believe in yourself, you can surpass every obstacle.

Where do you see your brand in the next five years?

In the next 5years ( by God’s able grace ) Thatpurpledotcouture would be a household name. A force to reckon with, a well renowned and globally recognised Fashion House and institution.

That's wonderful. Are there other projects in the works ?

Yes, there are a lot of projects to watch out for, just follow me on my social media platforms so you don’t miss out...lol

Instagram: @sylvielooner
 @thatpurpledotcouture and
 @tpdluxury
Facebook : Sylvia Isioma Nwoko

Which do you consider the best piece you have made at ThatPurpledot?

(Smiles) Every piece seems to become a favorite the moment we’re done creating them but I’m still very much in love with a Bespoke Dress, I made in 2019 cos it was a very luxurious dress made with a unique fabric and It was super exhausting to produce but the final result was mind blowing. You can check out @tpdluxury for more

What works have you been remarkably influenced by?

I won’t say “work in particular” but some brands have motivated me... the likes of Donamatoshi for Female bespoke designs, Seyi Vodi for Male outfits and Grassfields + SGTC clothing for African Ready to wear outfits. I naturally look out for these brands daily.

Is there anything you would have done differently as a beginner, with your wealth of knowledge in the Industry now?

I sincerely wish I knew how to put in proper structure in the beginning of my business and also spend more money on strategic advertisements but like they say “we stay learning”
What are the challenges you have faced in the Fashion Industry and what's a step in the right direction for the Industry ?

Standing out in an industry as saturated as mine is a huge challenge, one has to keep thinking of ways to create a niche. Plagiarism is another huge ordeal, the efforts Designers put into production and marketing, is a whole lot for some other people to steal their designs and reproduce them for less. I think we need a body in place for the fashion industry to stand and fight against plagiarism.

A BELIEVERS GUIDE TO EFFECTIVE EVANGELISM

Cars sat empty on Blueave, a vibrant street up town that made over fourteen luxury apartments and a few public facilities the talk of town.
Ezinne walked into her Church, the third of one of Blueave's finest for the midweek service, she was a true definition of a committed believer in patterns and diligence yet thought evangelism a herculean task , infact one for the primary leaders of the Church especially, the elderly ones who had lived out their youthfulness and barely had much to do's.
She was wrong! Evangelism is every believers responsibility.

You would feel haunted by the opening paragraphs if you had worse notions about evangelism. It's alright, let's talk!
First off, can we really be "souled out" to Christ and. not care much about the salvation of those we love or find around us?
We would be breaking the commandment to love if we did so,  again we would be disregarding the instructions of Christ who instructed we go into the world and preach the gospel.

Evangelism is a term used to describe the act of preaching the Gospel.
It is one of the primary responsibilities of every believer yet most believers hardly evangelize.

Alot of believers seem to shy away from preaching the gospel because they nurse these wrong notions ;

-  it is a special gift
-  it should be left for primary leaders of the church (well you wouldn't think so if you thought of the church as the body of Christ more than the building and various names given)
- busy schedules
- another set do not believe they should bother with the act of preaching the Gospel  when they are committed to the departmental activities annexed to diligently serving the Lord.
We should do away with such beliefs and excuses.  This piece will expose us to a few tips that can make an obvious difference.

A BELIEVERS GUIDE TO EFFECTIVE EVANGELISM
Evangelism is every believers responsibility. Christ instructed his disciples in Mark 16 :18 to go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
In Mark 28 : 19 - 20 we are instructed to go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything the Lord has commanded.

 1. Study : Study the word of God and research on the choice topic. When we are fully abreast with the Gospel of Christ  this will enhance confidence to tell of God's word and goodness , 2Timothy 2 :15 Also,  you must arm yourself with right responses to questions that may arise to clear doubts and boldly tell of God's goodness 1Peter 3:15.  Prepare a great message to share

2.  Prayer : Commit each act of evangelism to God , remember we are to pray without ceasing. It is not merely the act of sharing the word which brings people to Christ but the Holy spirit also ministers to them.
We must learn to  invite the Holy Spirit as we step out to evangelize.

3. Appropriate Schedule : Choose an appropriate time for the activity. You can set out less busy days  to share the word of God . See that other personal engagements do not get you unsettled in between. Also, remember you can share the gospel even at work to colleagues and friends off working hours.

4. Establish a Relationship:  Ceating a relationship will ease tension , find out how the day has been, get to know a little more about the person you are sharing the word with.
When you genuinely seek details of their well-being, they tend to open up easily and you can share the word of God while still taking cognizance of their needs.

5. Share your personal experiences and avoid condemnation:  We must be christ-like in all respects. Jesus hardly condemned those who were less like him it will be wrong to see someone smoking for instance and harshly condemn them in a manner that makes them defensive and defeat the mission of soul winning. Subtly  tell them of God's goodness and you can also share your experiences before you were saved this will help them believe letting go of bad habits is feasible. Personal experiences and testimonies do awesome with Gospel sharing, in the absence of any, an anonymous believers  experience can come in handy.

 6. Welfare Materials and Literature : Set out with Bibles, tracts, literature the new converta can feed on in your absence. Welfare materials such as edibles, clothing if possible should not go missing in our evangelism kit. Jesus also fed a multitude after ministering to them, welfare is important. Matthew 14 : 14 - 15

7: The prayer of Salvation:   Always round up with a prayer of Salvation for the new convert as this will be one of the acts that mark the beginning of a great   walk with God

8. Follow-ups : Exchange  contacts as well to enable you reach out to know more about their well-being and their journey in the faith.

 9. The Role of the Church: We must cease making the act of evangelism as a means of getting more members but to bring in more people to the body of Christ to receive the immeasurable gift of Salvation. Also, encourage members to evangelize more , orgarnize trainings and provide welfare materials and literature to aid evangelism.

It is important to note that apart from a formal approach of door-to-door evangelism , preaching in public places,
we can evangelize in the following ways ;

- through our lifestyle daily. Matthew 5 : 16
- creative evangelism through our social media platforms , determine to affect your social spaces positively
- beautiful spontaneous moments , engage in evangelism at every fine opportunity, it does not necessarily have to be formal.

May God bless us as we obey this instruction and may we receive grace to tell of God's love unashamed.
